Kitana, the Serval and her babies at Cheetah Experience

Another wild cat baby celebration for Cheetah Experience which is being kept a close eye on....

Kitana, a Serval with 3 legs due to an accident, has given birth to two beautiful kittens after 73 days of waiting!!

Because Kitana didn't produce sufficient milk with her first two litters she is being monitored hourly to ensure these two beautiful babies are suckling and surviving!!

Cleopatra - R.I.P @ Cheetah Experience

Sadly little Cleopatra has passed away from an infection. The Cheetah Experience team kept her alive, safe and warm for 3 weeks and she fought bravely to get this far....

What an amazing job Cheetah Experience and the volunteers do for these wonderful cats. Cleo wouldn't have had any chance of survival in the wild but she had 3 weeks of love and hope with the team.


There love has no bounds - even to the point of adopting a little domestic cat (now named Kitty) who turned up on the doorstep of the  Cheetah Experience  volunteer house. Read all about it in the Cheetah Diaries by clicking on the following link:  Cheetah Diary - Kitty's arrival  


And just like the 'recessive genes' some of the lions and leopards carry at Cheetah Experience which produce white lions or black leopards - Kitty has had a pure white kitten, along with a pure black kitten and three 'split' kittens....  :-)

Cleopatra - 4 Days Old

Baby Cleopatra is battling to fight the odds and doing fantastic - she's absolutely adorable!!

She is still at risk of a lung infection, but with the necessary care every day, the chances of her survival increase!


Her gorgeous tear drop markings round her little nose as she sleeps after a feed.






She loves her feeds.....

And is so courageous and determined to live.

Pepsi Gives Birth at Cheetah Experience!!

A little blessing is born.... on Sunday 01st September the beautiful Pepsi, who we adopted at Cheetah Experience through fundraising, gave birth to a darling little girl....."Cleopatra ".   A beautiful name for a beautiful Cheetah.

The birth wasn't smooth sailing and little Cleopatra failed to breathe safely on her own. She inhaled amniotic fluid into her lungs during the birth (a potentially fatal condition for any newborn). The necessary emergency care was given to save her life and she is still receiving medical care to prevent lung infections over the early days which can be fatal.















Both Mum and baby are doing well, resting and recovering!!  Sadly Pepsi hasn't produced milk but fortunately Riana and Rene are experts in raising Cheetah's and are taking special care of her.

She now weighs an impressive 390 grams and every day that passes increases her chances of survival!! Amazing work by Cheetah Experience.

Cheetah Experience - 'Pepsi'

Back in June 2012, I adopted 'Pepsi' from the money that was fundraised for this amazing Non-Profit Organisation.

Pepsi is pregnant with her first babies and being looked after with considerable care!!






She is doing well during her pregnancy - look at her beautiful belly growing larger.
